After a long stretch of hot, humid weather--I survived. Of course, I ran out of spray paint on the first nightstand redo, and didn't want to make another trip into town just for a can. So I waited. And it stormed. And then the heat wave arrived. So, after spending nap time finishing the first one, and sanding, priming, painting the second-they are finally done! WHOO HOOOOO!
But wait...what? TWO?! Yup. My MIL had a set hiding in my SIL's old bedroom. She let me steal one. I could have took her 2, and left her mine, but I already started painting. I kinda like that they don't match. I'm still on the fence about glazing...we'll see. I have some wrapping paper that would look great as a drawer liner, but I'm craftyed out for the day.
Here's a couple shots to get the full effect. Our bedroom is a work in progress, and so far, I REALLY love the look. New curtains from Target made it seriously fabulous. The wall looks a little bare because I took down some sconces I've had for a long time. I haven't figured out what to put up there yet, but the mirror has to stay.
They look so nice in your room! Love your curtains as well:) I love your blog and I am a new follower!

Thanks Karen! The curtains are from Target, the REstyle brand, I think. They're Ikea-ish. LOL I wondered if having such a bold print would be too in-your-face for a bedroom, but I really love it. It brightens up the room and distracts from the bad rental paint job. :)
